What’s the best way to celebrate Cycle to work day 2024? By getting on your bike of course!

Do your bit for the environment and leave the car keys at home on 1st August if you can. Take the time on your morning commute to take in the beauty around you, which may often get missed whilst sat in traffic.

Did you know that cycling is not only good for our health, but it also helps our purse strings by being up to 20 times cheaper than maintaining a vehicle.

Most employers offer a cycle to work scheme where you can buy a new bike/E bike at a reduced cost and pay for it directly from your wages.

To promote the scheme:

•       Provide content and resources - that demonstrate you support the cycle to work scheme. You can create your own or use resources already available from cycling campaigns or organisations.

•       Identify safe routes and help plan their trip – There are plenty of websites, apps and organisations you could use that will help support your employees and plan their trips to and from the workplace.
