Looking back on 2021

It’s been another challenging year in many ways, and it can be easy to forget what you have accomplished. Reflect on your year and recognise what you have achieved.

I’ve enjoyed supporting my clients and guiding them, not only through pandemic challenges, but also getting on track with and delivering their HR strategy.

Friends, I’ve been able to help a few friends stand up to employers who should have treated them better.

Charities, I’ve been able to continue to support charities with free HR support, sponsorship or donations.

Mentoring, I’ve enjoyed sharing my knowledge as a business owner to help others. I also met Prince Charles again through mentoring for Prime Cymru.

Recognition, it’s been amazing to be featured in People Magazine and to be a finalist in 4 awards, with a highly commended and UK runner up.

Personal development, I qualified as a mental health first aider in the workplace and recognised a few of my own trigger points. #HRfrommyshed continues to be successful and pushes me out of my comfort zone. I’ve also become an ambassador for Institute of Directors Wales.

It’s always good to reflect and recognise what you’ve achieved.

Here’s to 2022 and a year of seeing my clients thrive with my support.

Happy New Year everyone from JG HR Solutions Limited and of course, #HRfrommyshed!
